Annet Namusoke Bagola is a mother and business entrepreneur focusing on selling beauty products and providing other beauty services in the heart of Kampala Uganda
Below is detailed information about her humble beginning and achievements in the beauty industry over the years
Annet Namusoke Bagola was born in a Catholic family on 6th June 1994 in Luweero District, Kikube Village to Mr. Kakooza Buzoya James and Nantale Imelda.
She studied at Bethany miracle village primary school, St. Theresa Preparatory school, St. Jude Primary School and St. Daniel Secondary School.
In 2011, after facing difficulties in getting requirements in life, she woke up one morning with her bag, boarded a taxi and went to Kampala City to look for greener pastures.
She got her first job as a bar attendant in Masanafu where she was paid Shs.60,000 only per a month for a year. She then got pregnant at a young age and gave birth to a daughter Santrina Nanteza.
Bagola got another job in a spare parts shop owned by Mr. Kiweesi Joseph where she had a good working environment and got more exposure to the business world.
In 2014, she ventured into the Ugandan music industry by joining Rydim records where she recorded her first audio song. At this same time she got another job as a Receptionist at Kahundo Buffalo Hotel in Rubaga-Kabusu in Kampala City.
While working at the hotel, she recorded and released another audio song called ‘Bantama’ which was talking about a lady who was tired of poor men in relationships.
In 2016, she joined Cavton Music Management where she started a serious professional career and shot her first music video of the song Bantama. The video was filmed and directed by Success of Peco Films and enjoyed alot of power play on Ugandan media houses.
In 2017, she recorded another song called ‘njagala’ under the same record label produced by Rico of Purple chord and video by Peco Films.
In 2018, after experiencing the competitive industry, she dropped music and joined business by starting a boutique in Luweero District.
It’s from here that she got inspiration to start business in beauty products after being a customer of the products for some time. She felt like she needed to get for the society better products.
She started the beauty products business with research on YouTube about skin products and she started mixing her own creams which were liked by the customers. Bagola worked from home for a year and also started importing products from several countries which she sold online
In 2021, Bagola didn’t forget her humble background. She started constructing a house for her parents in the village with money from her business which she finished in 2022. The house was unveiled to her parents. With these blessings, she continued prospering in her business.
In 2022, she opened her first shop in Lugala, Masanafu in order to make her business bigger and better. She also started employing a few people to help her in the day to day running of the work place.
Bagola embarked on travelling to various countries around the world to get the best products as well as selling and meeting her customers in countries like Cameroon, Dubai, Italy, Nigeria, Tanzania, Burundi, Kenya among others
In 2024, she opened a new big and better beauty center in Mengo at Byandala plaza with a spa offering various services. She is currently operating Bagola Beauty Empire & Spa at these premises and she welcomes all customers to come and get the best services.
In 2025, Annet launched ‘Smile with Bagola Foundation’, aiming to help needy children and support their education. The inaugural outreach was back at Luweero’s Bethany Miracle Village school, where Bagola provided clothing, school supplies, and basic necessities to families.
She also ensured continuing education for 22 children, covering their school fees and essential needs. The Foundation is expanding its mission, striving to bring more smiles and tangible hope to communities in need.
